Popular Post Doogle Posted February 2 Popular Post Posted February 2 Two of them are pop songs which appeal globally with actual hooks that are heavily reliant on samples and had huge Spotify payola and push And one is a pure rap song with no real appeal outside of the US, without much support. The fact it’s that close in streams is kinda embarrassing for Nicki 53 8 2
naval23 Posted February 2 Posted February 2 If a record wasn't broken, why was a thread made? Is this going to be made for every female rap release going froward 5 1

qurl Posted February 2 Posted February 2 that someone considerably earlier in her rap career who didn’t have major backers in her corner (Lil Wayne/CashMoney + Dr Luke) coming up is even in contention with Nicki and Doja and basically kept up with their streaming numbers (only 2 mil behind) is impressive enough for someone who lives in reality like me it’s a testament to how talented Meg is ! 5

But in terms of streaming, playlisting works wonders for those who aren’t following news and it’s undeniable that she was at a disadvantage in that area. 1

Both Sides Now Posted February 2 Posted February 2 (edited) Super Freaky Girl is a pop song, as per the Recording Academy ah 👅 Edited February 2 by Both Sides Now 10 1 2

That is sort of the case though? Megan makes a type of rap that is basically only popular in the US. Those rap hits you’re referring to have hooks and are usually by men too. The other girls only get global hits with pop songs, NOT urban. It’s not rocket science. This is quite an embarrassing display of coping. Hope you barbz have a better week next week!
