that someone considerably earlier in her rap career who didn’t have major backers in her corner (Lil Wayne/CashMoney + Dr Luke) coming up is even in contention with Nicki and Doja and basically kept up with their streaming numbers (only 2 mil behind) is impressive enough for someone who lives in reality like me  it’s a testament to how talented Meg is !

Ur basically insinuating two are released by artists with global appeal and influence and one is local  theres plenty of rap songs on spotify that are global hits so this is no excuse lmao.

That is sort of the case though? Megan makes a type of rap that is basically only popular in the US. Those rap hits you’re referring to have hooks and are usually by men too. The other girls only get global hits with pop songs, NOT urban. It’s not rocket science.
