Not sure what’s wrong with half of y’all but her apologising in case her detailing the disgusting things done against hurt anyone else’s feeling and overshadowed their song wasn’t an apology. She’s only addressed their past relationship negatively twice in 20 years. Once was in a home video and the other was a response to him being shady that she only posted on her private Instagram. None of what she has done has been reminiscing about her past with him. He’s thrown shade on their relationship and has done everything he can to milk it for two decades

Every artist has a social media manager who posts for them and every major label act has clauses that allow labels to intervene or post on their social media accounts in certain circumstances. Britney’s label is RCA - the same as Justin’s. RCA saw all of the negative attention that Britney’s fanbase was causing to Justin’s lead single (which they invested a lot of money in for radio programming) and so they had her post to try and save their investment

They’ve literally never changed the narrative really. In the interim time between posts, (the apology being disingenuous:  as if any of you ever read “sorry if my being coerced to have a termination I didn’t want was sad for you” and thought it was an actual apology) he has taken yet further opportunity to throw shade at her and the other victims of his misogyny. The man who has done nothing but apologise in recent months for his tacky behaviour now says he doesn’t feel bad about it. Clearly his apologies have also been disingenuous. We can throw around the 25 year narrative all we damn like however for the most part of those 25 years, wether he be whining in songs about her, casting lookalikes in his videos, name dropping her on stage or slvt shaming her in interviews with his boys,-  she has legally been forced to remain quiet. She wrote her book, had her say, and he thought he’d profit of the attention her name brings to his once again, however he didn’t anticipate for her to reply in real time because that’s what everyone's become accustom to from Britney after all these years silenced. The fact that every time this man does something a small cohort of die heard fans manage to out stream his releases nationwide says everything about how society deems the dynamic and JT’s music as a whole. All those disinterested people fell of for a reason, and that’s that on the “narrative” around Britney. That and the fact that even on her worst day, twirling around her house she still exudes more talent from her dubious extensions than this entire “man” on a stage, with a choreographed routine, in his chinos.

She didn't take the high road. Taking the high road would be not dignifying his actions with a response. Posting a caption about "**** talking about me on the streets" is something you'd expect to see in some hillbilly's Facebook rant. I don't know, maybe it's a cultural difference, but in the UK airing your dirty laundry on social media is chavvy and classless. Also her private instagram has 42 million followers, so I'm not sure what point you're trying to make with that.
