Ewan Chaos Posted February 1 Posted February 1 There's always gonna be idiotic voters for the Grammys like this. The best we can hope is that there's less voters like him and more with an actual brain (unlikely but we'll find out this Sunday). 1
truthteller Posted February 1 Posted February 1 (edited) We need the name. It’s time for these little boomers to reveal themselves. Edited February 1 by truthteller 5
The_Bling Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Oh look, even more proof that the Grammys are a biased performative sh!tshow! Everyone will rightfully run to this thread to call them trash - only for those same people to then turn around and use Grammys as the paragon of musical prestige not even a couple days later 6
Vespertine Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Coming for Fiona completely unprovoked!? Oh heads need to ROLL 4 1 1
Green Posted February 1 Posted February 1 with voters like that I guess SOS has zero chances to win AOTY Midnights will probably win 1
liquiddiamonds Posted February 1 Posted February 1 I mean he sounds very like the way he was described by the article lol If Morgan was up for major fields he would have given him every vote lol

elincomprendid Posted February 1 Posted February 1 You all attacking the GRAMMYs for ONE voter, aren't there like 12k+ voters? I'm pretty sure that among those 12k voters you can find lots of multiple different opinions, and judging the whole entity cause of less than 0.01% of its entity is more stupid than the average stupid ATRL take Also Grammy voters are mostly all new people in the industry right now, in 2022 2k invitations were sent and in 2020 1.3k people ENTERED the voting group. That's 3k~ people in just 2 of the last 4 years which represents over a 25% of the commitee. Yes I'm aware them being new doesn't mean they are necessarily not old white men but still is very likely they aren't cause if they were they would've already been in the committee. And even if they were old white men to some extent, they are still part of the industry so they should have the right to vote as well 1
flower moon Posted February 1 Posted February 1 the lana comment is wild admitting you arent voting for the music/ arent even giving the music a chance. useless. 4
conquxror Posted February 1 Posted February 1 another reason as to why we shouldn’t be taking this lame ass award seriously 1

By the Water Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Y'all making the most over one voter There's literally another blind that voted for Miley for everything
rihannafan Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Rihanna, whose music has proven itself to be timeless, was always snubbed in the general categories. I really wouldn't take anything these voters seriously. 1

Cruel Summer Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Judging Lana’s 2023 output like that over ONE questionable performance more than a decade ago should get your ballot invalidated and get you disinvited from future years 9
CottageHore Posted February 1 Posted February 1 (edited) I stopped reading once I read “I haven’t taken Lana seriously as an artist since SNL in 2012”… 12 years, 8 critically acclaimed albums later, and an insane impact on the soundscape of music and this is still your conception of one of the greatest living songwriters of our time? He basically just admitted he hasn’t kept up with music at all and knows nothing. He has no right to be on that panel, but then again they’re called the Shammys for a reason. I hope this gets him booted. Edited February 1 by CottageHore 3
