Riverbank Posted January 31 Posted January 31 She's not obligated to speak up about every regional conflict going on in the world. And speaking up about such a polarizing issue while she's on tour can pose a lot of security threats. People will have an issue with her statement no matter what she says, so her political silence is understandable. The "activists" here can take their Twitter fingers and seethe away. 3
ttsmu Posted January 31 Posted January 31 She won't say anything. She didn't mention Ana's name in her socials or concerts, what made you think she would do something like this. 1

Raphy23 Posted January 31 Posted January 31 She's not a politician. She is allowed to not want to express political opinions, or even any opinion on any topic of subjects. I am sure she supports it but it's not her job to voice it. Taylor is known for keeping her political opinion to herself so I won't be surprised if she never speaks on it.

Taylor likes to show her support in privacy instead of voicing for the whole world to hear that she did something generous. 2

None of them adress the subject. There is a reason why all the MPGs are staying out ot politics. Exactly. If I was in politics I'd stay silent on most issues. Neutral is just the way to go. IRL the gp don't care what celebs think
fab Posted February 2 Posted February 2 "under pressure from the gp" .. whoever thinks this needs to step outside
KeshaSwift Posted February 2 Posted February 2 She’s a singer, and as most of the world, doesn’t know **** about the dynamic of Israel and Gaza so there’s no point to that anyway

Letemtalk Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Taylor is a businesswoman and I don't think there is business case. Too many Americans support dropping bombs on children as long as they are American bombs and non-white children. Besides, do we really need a pro-Palestine version of "You Need to Calm Down"?
