What are our thoughts on the influx of tweets demanding that Taylor express a stance on the issue particularly in favor of Palestine?

I don’t think she should be pressured because if she cared she’d say a long time ago.

On one hand, most of these twitter freaks dgaf for real and only use Palestine as ammunition in stanwars and that's completely disgusting.

On the other hand, this is what happens when you are as huge and influential as Taylor Swift is currently, and I do not feel bad about Taylor being put under this sort of pressure.

Shes too "smart" for adressing such a topic. So are the rest of the big artists. None of them adress the subject. There is a reason why all the MPGs are staying out ot politics.

She didn't say anything about Ukraine-Russia

saying something about Palestine is even less likely

Even if she did it still wouldn't be enough for these freaks. Also, if they truly think a POPSTAR can end a war just by saying a few words then they're truly delusional. :deadbanana2:

None of these 3 tweets even have 100k likes. In what world do they speak for the GP?

Taylor isn't gonna risk facing corporate pushback for speaking out in favor of Palestine like the few celebs who have. Because of her current stature, any statement she makes, even the most mundane, becomes a focal point of discourse in the mainstream media. She cares about her career too much to get behind something that could interfere with it.
