Gladiator Posted January 29 Posted January 29 (edited) That is actually pretty scary. I knew from previous elections she had the power to pull crowds to the voting polls, but to sway votes too seems scary. Edited January 29 by Gladiator
Taylena Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Those voters were probably already voting for Biden tho. The real question is how many Trump voters she could sway with her endorsement of Biden. It's probably very low.
Trent W Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Love her, but this speaks really really bad for Americans
Armani? Posted January 29 Posted January 29 She needs to get those White women to vote against Trump if that's the case lol
Jeremiah Posted January 29 Posted January 29 This says more about America’s stupidity than Taylor’s power. 1
family.guy123 Posted January 29 Posted January 29 There’s no excuses then. She can single handedly dictate how the next election turns out. The result will rest on her shoulders no matter what. 3
Shelter Posted January 29 Posted January 29 I doubt she is going to reveal if she is voting for Trump or terrorist supporter Biden.
Cleanromantic Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Oh wow, the impact . Who do they want her to endorse though, Every kind of bigoted -ist Trump, or Genocide Joe

I don’t really like the idea of letting a billionaire celebrity influence your political stance anyway, but a lot of the reasons I’m not on board with voting for Biden just aren’t things that my favorite music artist is likely going to change. This girl would have ZERO impact on a political presidency election and I wish people would stop buying into these farcical articles claiming such. Celebrity endorsements of politicians has proven (more than once) to be widely ineffective. Hell, every big A-list celebrity threw their name behind Clinton and we saw how that turned out. If the product that's being sold to us is ****, then it's still **** no matter how pretty one tries to dress it up and make it presentable. Biden is ****. And anyone STUPID enough to be swayed by their fav. celebrity on who to vote for, shouldn't be voting at all. And Biden does not deserve a second term. And many agree. 1 1

Every multimillionaire & billionaire celebrity is going to be okay regardless if it's a dem or republican in office. I'm not voting for Biden for a multitude of reasons. You're saying the only thing that would catalyze you to the voting booth is if Taylor Swift publicly endorsed Biden ? that's all it takes from you, really ? please sit your ass out this election all together and get some perspective. And you come off like someone who isn't even legally allowed to vote due to the age limit, which says a lot about your maturity level because you probably are old enough to vote. 1 1
OrgVisual Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Depends on what the context of the survey is. Taylor has been very vocal about supporting Democrats recently. So if the people interviewed are already Democrats themselves, ofc they would vote for the candidate endorsed by Swift Now, if Taylor endorses a Republican and they decide to sway votes, that's a different question 1

Well there is also the fact that 50% of eligible voters under the age of 30 don’t vote (in a good year). In states like Michigan and WI where elections are won and lost by razor thin margins, a few extra people going out and voting who otherwise might not have might change the entire election. For the record though, I don’t think Taylor should tarnish her career and align herself with a genocide supporting administration just to sway some people in WI and MI to vote for a deeply unpopular candidate. kexin Posted January 29 Posted January 29 she’d win in a landslide if she ran for president, that’s just the truth 1 1

It’s kind of ironic that you are calling people a dummy but you yourself are unable to read the undertones of their post and are reading it literally. 1
shimind Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Trump is coming back and no amount of such garbage articles will change that. Biden Kamala are the worst president/VP of all time. After their vocal support for Israel, I will literally pray that Trump comes back.

What 'undertones' ? the post was rather straight-forward and I still stand by what I said. And yes, anyone who needs to be swayed by their fav. celebrity to get out and vote should not, in my opinion, be voting at all. 1

I'll be one of the first in line to talk **** about this wildly useless administration but "the worst president/VP of all time" is still very much Bush and Cheney by far.
i spit on haters Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Matter fact, now that I remember, Oprah actually did convince quite a percentage of Black voters to support Obama once she endorsed him. A lot of Black voters were originally for Clinton. And that's not me saying Oprah's influence had a profound impact on Obama's presidency win because he still would have won regardless but Oprah's endorsement did help, I'll say that.

FightDragonsWithMe Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Taylor needs to just run for president instead of endorsing either of those two weirdos.
dussel_06 Posted January 29 Posted January 29 She should endorse a green/independent candidate just to add to the clusterf*ck that will happen on the next election.
Just a Gay on ATRL Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Honestly don’t mean to be rude but do mean to be blunt and truthful on this: it is deeply embarrassing if a popstar that sings songs for a living is able to sway your beliefs on political world leaders that easily, especially when their platform is so apolitical. I need people that are waiting with bated brief for Taylor’s endorsement of a candidate to re-examine themselves. Obviously it would be great if she swayed enough voters to get Trump far away from the White House, but the precedent that she even has enough power to do this in the first place is so absurd. It’s like a 30 Rock sketch or the ending to a Lizzie McGuire movie. Maybe Taylor will come out and sing “hey now hey now this is what dreams are made of” when she is the miracle Jesus to win Biden the election to tap off the Disney fantasy. Lol
Raver Posted January 29 Posted January 29 1 in 5 Americans are swifties confirmed Spoiler Don’t do it Taylor
