The album is definitely one of Mariah's best works and ILT is one of her most underrated singles, it's phenomenal. Should've been way more succesful. I don't like Rebirth much I think it's one of JLo's weakest records. Especially coming off TIMT which is her best album by a long shot. I like Get Right but it can be a bit irritating nowadays, I wouldn't put it in a top 15 JLo singles.

GrandeVersace
TEOM is literally perfect. A career defining record. Rebirth on the other hand has a couple of highlights (Step into my world, get right, can't believe this is me) but as a whole it's weak.

suburbannature
5 minutes ago, Josh said: You can't steal a producer, they all used the same producer Quote Later in 2004, six months after recording "1 Thing", Amerie and Harrison leaked it to US radio stations in an attempt to get it released officially.[1][4] The response from DJs and listeners was positive, and it consequently received airplay across the country. Columbia Records attempted to suppress the song because it was an unofficial release, and because Jennifer Lopez (another artist on the label) had expressed interest in recording the song for her own album, Rebirth.[4] Radio stations refused to retract the song from their playlists, and Columbia eventually began promoting "1 Thing" as a single, making it a last-minute addition to the Hitch soundtrack.[1] Lopez settled on another Harrison-produced, funk-infused track, the Usher outtake "Get Right".[4] The song was officially serviced to American urban radio stations on January 18, 2005.[5] Bonus: Quote The Yeah! Star claims J.Lo's new single Get Right is a re-recorded version of Ride, a song Usher co-wrote last year which is only available on the internet. The 26-year-old rages, "I hate it, but I'd better get some of the publishing rights or else. I didn't put it on my album because I couldn't get it right. But I didn't expect J.Lo to just take it." Bloodflowers.
Rebirth is a weak album, it was only carried by its excellent lead single Get Right, the era campaign ended after Hold You Down bombed but tbh Rebirth doesn't have any strong second single material Step Into My World is a great album track! But listening to He'll Be Back today is so funny because she was singing this song about Ben, and now they are indeed back together ksksksk rebirth indeed
blown away
The Emancipation Of Mimi is a good album, Rebirth isn't. Get Right is a great song though, but It's Like That still washes it with ease. Mariah came on that ***** mad as hell and delivered on of her catchiest and most cunty bops.
