Popular Post Stepfon Posted January 28 Popular Post Posted January 28 The fact that Nicki has a whole section on the HISS Wiki page. Quote Rapper Nicki Minaj appeared to take the reference in "Hiss" to Megan's Law as a diss towards her and her husband, registered sex offender Kenneth Petty, and almost immediately after the song's release took to Instagram Live to preview her own song, a diss track against Megan Thee Stallion. She played a snippet with the lyrics "Bad *****, she like 6 foot, I call her Bigfoot, the ***** fell off, I said get up on your good foot", and then posted photos of her manicured feet on X (formerly Twitter). This was seen as a reference to the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion's foot by Tory Lanez. On the live, Minaj proceeded to criticize Megan Thee Stallion by saying "You have three Grammys and you have to learn how to rap on the beat and being comfortable in the music,” before mocking her rap flow. Minaj also liked several Tweets from users that were aimed at the other rapper. Megan Thee Stallion posted an Instagram story where she was doubled over with her left hand on her mouth, seemingly laughing at Minaj's response.[12][13] In the hours after the song's release, Minaj continued to discuss Megan Thee Stallion with posts on X and on Instagram Live and seemingly accused her of lying about the shooting. In a 3,100-character post on X, she claimed to not “condone bullying" while attacking the rapper for being a "horrible actor that can’t cry on cue" and a "pathological & manipulative liar." In the same post, Minaj bragged about her own success, listing several accolades for her fifth studio album Pink Friday 2 (2023), and compared the success of her song "Barbie World" for Barbie (2023) to Megan's song "Not My Fault" for Mean Girls (2024). She continued by accusing Megan of winning "fraudulent awards", which were taken as a reference to her Grammy Awards, of which Megan has three and Minaj none, and repeatedly described her as a "flop." Minaj also accused Megan of using ghost writers for her raps and claimed to be a "classy lil rich lady", blaming her tirade on her musical alter ego, Roman Zolanski.[14] 15
