Megan changed her mind and ended up really liking Cardi. People are allowed to re-assess and re-evaluate how they feel about others. Onika should try it. She has this archaic "ride or die" thing engrained in her mind. It's not a bad thing per se but it can be really blinding, especially when it comes to defending people who are clearly in the wrong even if they mean something to you (Jelani, Kenneth). Megan liked Nicki at one point and she clearly vastly prefers Cardi. Happens. Move on. The reverse has also happened I'm sure and Cardi doesn't cry about it.
