It’s hard to say if she always was one or not in hindsight, but it doesn’t really matter. It’s just really a bummer to watch a rap icon completely unravel and seriously damage/erode away at what would’ve been a truly admirable legacy in rap music otherwise. Her actions will haunt her and be on asterisk on her career forever now and she has no one to blame but herself. 6

I was at this photo shoot she did for Roberto Cavalli in 2015 and she treated everyone like complete garbage allegedly. Something about it being the most streamed rap song first day? But now there are Spotify numbers saying otherwise...?

There's a reason why no one is ever clamouring to work for Nicki these days, her reputation is horrible. 3

People will check it out just because its Nicki so she will always do numbers. Megan was more impactful here because she didn't even mention Nicki and it sent Nicki, her fanbase, and the media into a frenzy. I love Nicki but even if she streamed better, it would mean nothing. But all of that engagement is purely from curiosity and hype. Especially with the debut stats.
