In 2015 Janet visited a school in Yata, a city in occupied Palestine as part of her work as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. She entered the West Bank from Jordan where she visited the Zatari and Syrian war refugees camps. A few months after that visit Janet released her lastest album Unbreakable in which she expresses her support of the Palestine people and denounces their oppression through the song "Black Eagle". State of Grace. Posted January 24 Posted January 24 An absolute legend. I remember Unbreakable being my introduction to Janet and the first ever album that I listened to in full from her. I didn't know about the meaning behind Black Eagle until a few years later and I've developed mad respect for her. The album is also quite underrated (like most of her discography) tbh.
