Bey isn’t even that bad of an actress. A lot of people just find her to be overrated and love to see her acting receive little to no acclaim. 

Her roles in The Fighting Temptations, Austin Powers, Dream Girls and Cadillac Records are all solid with some iconic moments. The lifelessness of TLK remake or the unserious of Obsessed exists, but she’s not completely panned overall. Taylor hasn’t had much of a leading role to really compare.

Because she transitioned in an era of her career where she loves being the best at everything she does and B is definitely average as an actress. 

She's not bad by any means let's be clear there (I loved her cult classic/Oscars-snubbed Obsessed), but she wasn't getting any major acclaim.
