Nowadays is when artists release a bunch of singles every other week. Rihanna back then was one of the few (if not the only mpg) who had the luxury of having multiple songs take off almost simultaneously without cutting off each other's chart runs prematurely. When WFL came out, Loud wasn't even 1 year old and it already had 5 hits. This is unheard of for today's standards where instead of having a hit every 3-4 months in the span of a year, the girls get 1 single that charts for an entire year by itself. Ofc exceptions exist but the general rule for the streaming era is 1 hit single = 1 era since that's all you need to have you album chart consistently. Edited January 24 by dumbsparce
ICLDXU4HS Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Half of Loud + half of TTT would make one strong ass classic pop record. As is, they’re both just okay. 2
Gov Hooka Posted January 24 Posted January 24 (edited) Talk that talk has so much filler… really a terrible album despite how great a few of the singles are Edited January 24 by Gov Hooka

theweekend Posted January 24 Posted January 24 thank god. she didn't have anything left to release after S&M. TTT was the one she milked it out wrongly tbh TTT the song deserved to be #1 hit for several weeks.
