Avril Lavigne - Greatest Hits Tour 2024

Her Canadian gigs are almost sold out and it's only presale in a few hours, her touring power grows so much since Love Sux tour, she truly becomes an ultimate icon at this point. She should do more dates in Canada. Plus, she can easily sellout 20 arena shows in EU, she can do seven shows in the UK easily.

How many pre-sales she has? lol :dies:

Is she selling Well??

I was thinking why she is not coming to Latin America or Asia… is Avril expensive otr dificult to make an agreement??

Also another Theory Is that she Is not coming to LA & Asia because of the Opening Acts… I Bet they want to bring her 2 opening acts so she Can do her 1 hour & 30 mins show but supported by 2 opening acts.

But whats the Tea??? Why she Is ignoring her 2 biggest markets??

Back to the tour…. This venues?? Happy for the Madison Square Garden but I dont know the rest :rip: she also booked an stadium

I really wish she would just do a solo tour. I want to see HER, not SIMPLE PLAN :ace:. I was looking at tickets for Tampa and thinking to myself, these would be cheaper if she didn't tack on all these people. I am sure there is a lot of cross-over appeal for a lot of fans but personally, just give me a solo tour mama!

Her solo tour would just be another 90 mins set, she's been performing a 90 minutes gig for about the past 15 years. She's older and she won't change….

Oooof general public sale has been on for about 7 hours and most of the dates are not doing great :toofunny2:

General sales look tragic in over half the dates. I think her demographic don't particularly like those outdoor venues but indoor venue is not very profitable for her considering her ticket prices aren't high. They need to lower the ticket prices and do some promo, this is what u get for not releasing a banger with GH. A waste of good will and opportunity to get a decent hit. She needs to tour the world, NA once again is proven to be her weakest market(tho things are much much better than post 2008).

This was so out of left field, after months of silence. The hype is just not there anymore, especially considering it's USA and Canada again? What's up with that?

If she's a touring power, she needs to stop being an opening act and line-up for festivals. Accept the headliner offers only :eli:

The shows are selling anywhere from decently well to really poorly. The Canadian dates look good, but that one show in North Carolina seems like she's barely sold any tickets. The first leg did great, but it wasn't so highly acclaimed that it justified adding just as many shows, especially in parts of the country where she's not as popular. Her team will have to step in somehow—either by lowering ticket prices closer to the dates or releasing a single. It might not make a huge difference in ticket sales, but at least it would give people a reason to consider buying tickets. What's the difference between the first leg and this one?

My show (on another continent) was also a slow burner when it came to ticket sales, but it was more or less 90% sold out by the day of the concert. Her previous concert also didn't sell out on the same day the tickets went live. Plus, not completely selling out an arena isn't that big of a deal, but they do need to encourage people to buy tickets.

Maybe even a revamped setlist would help. Taylor incorporated songs from her new album into the middle of the Eras Tour, so Avril could consider premiering some new tracks live as well. There's a lot she could do—it's just a matter of what she chooses.

For now, let's focus on the first leg, which performed really well. :eli:

She's been getting away with very lazy bare minimum shows. Even for her to switch up the setlist, it would still be 16 songs. For an act with 7 albums, she surely should put on a 1 hour and 45 mins shows as minimum considering she's not dancing at all. Nonetheless, for all those amphitheaters, I'm sure she can sold at least 7000 each dates which should be able to get the tour going. Janet doing the same venues had performed worst and still went ahead.

Her team thought she had become a touring force. Looks like she is still not :eli: . People bought the tickets for her first leg due to the fact that she hadn't been touring in the country since 2007? Meanwhile, they do not want to comeback again without any addition to the tour.

Honestly I think Simple Plan is the box office poison this time around:noparty:

I mean, anyone being to her shows, would just say that's enough for nostalgia and never wanting to buy a ticket again. I have been to her 2015 show and that's a 80 mins gig. What a disappointment and she lacked energy all night and looks like she just want to get over it. This is what she deserves.

at the meantime, she certainly sold some tickets in the last few days, so it looks like she's a slow burner but will do decently when date is close. She should tour Asia and Australia at one trip, a 10-20 dates would be pretty easy for her.
