It's more likely to be her ME!

I just know her Cruel Summer is on the album.

In what world would CTTR be number one on Spotify?

You may have forgotten but CTTR actually broke the Spotify record for the highest first-day streaming for a single track by a female artist when it was released...How times have changed since then.

The Song is doing nothing but good numbers.

Chained To The Rhythm is the better song.

It's already bigger than CTTR.

Yall always desperate for her to have a Witness era, and I'm sorry to inform you that AG7 won't be either. Better luck with AG8.

I had no idea, I mean there was massive  buzz about a new Katy lead back then but it flopped in the end

It was not a bad song but from fun pop songs she went to are we crazy?

Was it really a flop though? It wasn't a "smash" single by Katy's standards but it is honestly quite hard to top the success of her last big single, Dark Horse.

It was a cute top 5 on the Hot 100 and has over 1 billion streams (YT + Spotify, combined). It's the stuff that came after that which caused her downfall not so much CTTR.

Probably not. I would be shocked if Ari didn't get another hit going forward. Besides, Katy was already showing signs of slippage before CTTR, with Birthday, This Is How We Do, and Rise all flopping. The worst Ari did before this was pov, but Ari also had smashes like positions and 34+35, as well as remixes of SYT and DFY, which propelled both songs to #1.

No, Ari has charisma and a fan base.

The biggest gag is a Dua stan taking about charisma or/and fanbase :ahh:

"Yes...and?" is better than that 'Chains to Rhythms' sound

Ariana is spinning the bad press to suit her needs, and everything feels in control. Katy felt very much out of control of what was happening during Witness.
