Those are 8 idiots, not the “Democratic Party”. So misleading. President Biden himself supported the $15 minimum wage. And this was a bill introduced by Democrats and the Democratic Party as a whole supports it.  

 

But also the $15 minimum wage passed in most blue states. Meanwhile, there are a **** load of red states that are not raising the minimum wage.

I thought I was far left until I started reading the civics portion of Atrl. I’m liberal at best. But I also live In a very red area so that’s probably distorted how i see myself politically. But Some of these people have gone so far left they’ve salivating at another Trump term to “own the libs”, when in reality we’re all gonna get owned. Saying it’s what we deserve like some of them don’t live here too. Then when Trump wins they spend four years complaining about him even though they voted third party or didn’t vote at all. It’s mind-boggling. They’d also the ones who take no responsibility for trumps Supreme Court they had a small hand in crafting.

I make $9 an hour + tips as a bartender now.  That's really good, and I'm guessing it will increase even more as the years go on to get the non-tipped wage up to $15.  If I make $100 bucks in 5 hours (which isn't that great), I'm still making almost $30 an hour.  When I first moved to Florida back in 2002, the wage was $2.13 an hour.

Not really because when you think about it, it's like asking people that do you want more money? Of course they will vote yes.

 

It seems like the only way to make real progress in America is to put these issues such as minimum wage, abortion and legalizing weed on the ballot and let people vote on them directly.
