Yeah it doesnt work that way. I would not support someone like Pette Buttigieg because hes a corporate dem and his beliefs are not it. Gay men all want to do completely different things from each other. Many people are not going to support various behaviours. Not to mention that trauma is raging, and a lot of people cannot identify it. I just take LGBT community as meaning a lot of us do share similar experiences, similar interests, and similar struggles. It’s much more common to share similar interests with a gay man than a straight for me at least. But if we're being 100% honest, there is a lot of self hate in the gay community (among other issues like racism, envy, etc). And it becomes super obvious whenever certain topics are being discussed. I mean, this is a strawman argument. Obviously "a community" doesn't mean everyone always has to agree on everything, nor does it mean you have to be instant besties with every gay person. A community of queer people is based on shared experiences, discrimination, and ostracism from the straight society, as well as internal emotions of shame and trauma. LGBT+ people have also created their own spaces and culture based on their identity and position in society, but that doesn't mean every individual within that always has to hype up everyone else. Honestly y'all will say **** like this and then complain that you're lonely and other gays don't want you. Well maybe if you weren't so bitter and stuck up you wouldn't have such a hard time socialising with your gay peers. This hyper-individualistic thinking is the reason why y'all are so miserable but you're too blind to see it. We dont follow the most traveled path. This world needs more of that. The world is too dark today. We need more color. Less conventions. New ways to see life. If we were more open to each other we would defend our community better too. We are in so much risk worldwide right now (never take your rights for granted) and we are too divided by the wrong factions-the media-people with bad intentions. This rise of fascism everywhere is really really scary. We could own the world and be the kings-queens and wealthiest but we love to be catty-bitchy with each other. Thats so sad. We cant heal from our past pain and tragedies directing our arrows to others. To heal we need love We also need to respect more our differences. Something i noticed is how we lack tolerance. People dont have conversations anymore like in the past. Everything is straight annihilation Some of us, we are always on alert mode and then we turn into hunting mode. Walls are necessary today in this cannibal world but ours are "too spiked" "have too many thorns" with people from our community. Sisters and brothers. I wish there was something different to grindr and we could make friends and look for networking too. i wish People were more open to chat and not only "are u top"? "do you have place?" "dick pics?" Years ago i wrote in my bio. Lookin for friends for traveling-videogames-movies-eating outside and connections. I pay. around 200 views and not a single comment. Then i put. Sucker-Open to everything-BB *****. Got overwhelmed with comments. i wish we had different spaces for entertainment. The only ways to meet gays in my country is bars-clubs or saunas-cabs i wish i had a way to meet other gay guys and share about life and help each other and support our endeavors Hope generation alpha is ready to lead the change We are POWER 🌈 We need to desconstruct our community.
