Be honest: if "yes, and?" was sung by someone unknown, would you even like it?

Would you still be obsessing over it? Or are you forcing yourself to like it because it's Ariana? :ryan3:

Ariana's voice is literally the selling point  :rip: it's not like she's some random with mediocre vocals

I don't like it even now, she thought she was making quality house/dance music like Madonna or Jessie Ware :rip:

Yes. I only dislike it because it’s sung by Ariana.  :-*

I mean Novo Amor would’ve smashed it

Depends on the voice

Ariana's voice is what makes a lot of her songs good

The instrumental is also great, it hooks u in with an interesting sound /effect

I don't really like or listen to songs Because of an artist.

I listen to them because I like the songs..

I like the genre but it lacks a melodic bridge/ middle 8 part. Europe seems to love it, but I get the impression American audiences would have preferred RnB ?

Ariana's vocals is actually why the song is somewhat enjoyable, otherwise there's nothing good about it.

The vocals and melody are so quintessentially Ariana, I don't see how it could have been made by someone else. Others wish they had the range (musically and vocally).

Another day, another yes and thread by this person

Ot: idk if the singer could bring it across? But ofc the vocals and delivery of an artist I like helped lol

this is such a nonsense criticism in general because of course who sings the songs matters. :deadbanana4:

Depends if the person could sing or not. If Jojo,  Zara, Dua, or beyonce sung it yes. If someone like Selena or Taylor or charli xcx did then no

It depends on whether the unknown singer could sing or not.

As if you’d praise a Taylor song if it wasn’t her singing it. :suburban:
