Inspired by someone's reply on Taylor's coconut hair thread and ppl accusation on Katy's hair as the cause of her failure on Witness era

Will Taylor herself flop with this kind of hairstyle?

Having a Karen haircut is not attractive, I can’t see Taylor getting that kind of haircut for now. :giraffe:

Lmao yes she will for sure flop, or at least she’ll have a big first week debut bc of her old Stans but that’s pretty much gonna be it for her.

that fkin haircut is giving me trauma :rip:

to me it would highlight her eyes/ bone structure if the album was styled from the 60s

(minus those sideburns nn)

if katy was gonna do short it should’ve been brunette audrey instead of that unflattering shade she went with

Only because there would have to be something seriously wrong with Taylor to get that haircut. It only looks good on women with sharp bone structure which Taylor doesn't quite have.

But Taylor's primarily fanbase wouldn't abandon her due to a haircut through they would clown on her. They would continue to support her and they are big enough to make her albums blockbusters with no gp support. Visuals also aren't very important to Taylor's album campaigns.

It hurt Katy since her fanbase was always small and she was dependent on gp while Taylor's fanbase supports her through hell or high water.

Ummm, right now she is too big to flop, no matter how hard she tries to. She's just too big.

But in a couple of years, anything could happen.

Hardly

but it will still have an effect ig

poptimism made it so it's easier to stray these days

but u also have to be smart about how u do it, and Tay is deffo smart

imo, she will gain more respect but will lose on the sales part of things

She could go bald for an era and still smash cuz the music will be good anyways :foxaylove2:

She can pull a Fiona and turn into shrek and that still wouldn't make her flop... be for real. :deadbanana4:

The "Katy flopped cuz haircut" narrative is tired. The music just wasn't that good I fear
