No one has said Doja is the bigger name (tho she is already a bigger touring force than Nicki ) Trolls that know nothing don’t get a response from me. Enjoy your thread that’s backfiring on you

Pink Friday: 10,033,000 Planet Her: 8,850,000 Invasion of Privacy 5,990,000 cultural impact wise tho she had a bigger peak. she became a household name in like a year whereas no shade to doja but she's still not really a household name that someone like my dad would know

Dialamba Posted January 14 Posted January 14 As a Doja stan. It’s Nicki, her success goes beyond sales and streams. 2
Aethereal Posted January 14 Posted January 14 1 hour ago, makeme said: About even peaks. Pink Friday is only about 1.2m above Planet Her despite having 10 years over it. You could also argue Planet her since it has better chart runs on every single album chart WW including the billboard 200. Pink Friday: 10,033,000 Planet Her: 8,850,000 Streams yesterday Pink Friday: 1,319,000 Planet Her: 3,628,649 This has been debunked with RIIA certifications. IOP is 4x platinum, possibly 5x platinum eligible while PF is 4x platinum eligible. I don't think international markets will make a huge difference for PF even it gets the lead. OT: I am not sure. Nicki was definitely more famous back in the day. Doja Cat is more a streaming hit maker, her name does not hold power. Nicki was Nicki.
unclefloprry Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Pop artist Nicki Minaj, at one point, all the pop artists wanted to have a 20 second verse in their songs and get urban listeners into the bag. She was like the female Pitbull of 2009-2013. That's why 70% of her total numbers come from collaborations. Doja has the biggest album btw
