OnlyManInTheWorld Posted January 14 Posted January 14 The group of people invited to the room goes hysterical at the end of the video. Do you feel the same energy? Is Ariana’s movement making you euphoric? Or does the reaction come across as forced?

State of Grace. Posted January 14 Posted January 14 (edited) Yes. The handography is very clean and suited for her abilities. Edited January 14 by State of Grace. 11
Rider Posted January 14 Posted January 14 It's very musical theatre and it fits VERY well. Too much energy wouldn't have fit. 1
Red Velvet Posted January 14 Posted January 14 12 minutes ago, Touchdown said: oh it's special alright.
Bosque Posted January 14 Posted January 14 I don’t think anyone was under the impression that it’s particularly special, it’s merely a cute standard choreography for a pop music video. The whole meta message of “everyone who criticizes me is just a miserable person who wants to see me unhappy” was rather cringeworthy 2
dawnettakins Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Better than a certain someone's could even dream of 2 1
Orsay Posted January 14 Posted January 14 She looked good, the choreographer worked well to suit her abilities (take notes Richy Rat) 1 2
45seconds Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Impressive no. But it’s also very sharp. Her hand choreography is really really good. 1
Kh-Loud Posted January 14 Posted January 14 (edited) Imagine being the stan of the girl who got out danced by Ellie grounding of all people to be the one making this thread Edited January 14 by Kh-Loud 1 4
Johnny Jacobs Posted January 14 Posted January 14 It wasn't really dancing. Most of it were poses and leaning
Alldeezy Posted January 14 Posted January 14 because she's been so quiet for ages and the way she walks up as a comeback kinda makes it special .. and I enjoyed it a lot.
playboi Posted January 14 Posted January 14 i thought it was pretty and dainty which is what I would expect from her 1
honestopinion Posted January 14 Posted January 14 There is nothing special or original about this music video, isn't it just a copy of already existed music video from the past 3 2
beautiful player Posted January 14 Posted January 14 I had to rewind the video to figure out why the audience was so enthralled. It did not feel like an organic response. I can see the idea they had, but the execution was not convincingly done and felt rushed towards the end. And no, this is not "musical theatre" much more than any other pop girl music video the past 10 years. I hope that narrative gets nipped in the bud real quick.
mrpartyrocker Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Not a Taylor swift fan talking about Ariana’s dancing skills 2
