Not her teaching Max how to use the production software :rip:

The allegations of him not actually producing any of the hits under his name from the last ten years, but his team actually producing is alive again

It’s always cool to see the behind the scenes of a song.

I think people just get used to their way of doing things and Ariana probably brought some demo or something from elsewhere maybe with another software. It's kind of endearing that he is willing to learn and that his ego doesn't interfere with the process.

That being said though I do believe that other people do the majority of work for Max Martin

Why is her enunciation here better than the actual song? Who is producing her vocals?

Where were these allegations from? I just assumed that his proteges bring in demos and they collectively "vote" which demo to work on(the one they think has most potential); atleast thats what I understood from interviews of Benny Blanco, Cirkut, etc... I heard in an interview that he just supplies ideas to demos that were already brought in(and I assume that were practically almost complete), but idk if thats true. I heard that many producers sign contracts with people like Dr. Luke, so I wondering if Max is the same.

Ddd from what people have said, Max (especially after the early 2010s) more-so produces the vocals on his work and is now more-so an instrumentalist than a beatmaker when it comes to modern productions. Based on the credits, Illya likely created the original foundation of the beat on the piano, Max added to it (as he's seen as having a special touch), and then Ariana did the topline (melody and lyrics).

I wonder if she had an even further hand in programming and comping her vocals that led to her producer credit or if she was with them when building out the instrumental.

Her vocals being deep in the mix would be on the mixing and mastering team, but Max's usual engineer (Serban Ghenea) did the mixing so it's likely an intentional artistic choice to make the vibe of the genre.

i believe she does, i’m guessing that’s why she got producer credit this time :bird:

they muffled the vocals to fit the style of the song, crystal clear vocals would've felt strange indeed

Am I the only one who didn't have any issues with her enunciation on "yes, and?"? I'm not even a native speaker. Maybe I'm just her style of singing now.

I was about to drag him but he actually mixed and mastered both Positions and thank u, next (the albums), all of Taylor’s re-recordings and Midnights, GUTS, Silk Sonic, etc. He’s we’ll accomplished, so it must be an intentional artistic choice like you said.
