I knew she changed her voice up vocally for the film and she reiterated it in the interview so I was a bit nervous with how she'd sound on this until I heard Yes, And? She sounds the same. I just want better lyricism and good vocals on ES. I trust her with melodies so no sweat.

With her, it should really just be about the music. And I think someone could genuinely not be excited for the sound based on the lead, etc. But all of her albums have this kind of art direction. All of her albums have the kind of characteristics people are mentioning now like short track lengths. I think if people want a huge artistic revamp that's also fair too, but I'm not sure that's the same (not the good sis Blue Monday) as saying they feel things are rushed. This is largely how Ariana operates. The biggest question mark is if she delivers on the music and I personally have 6 albums worth of material telling me she'll stick the landing on this. 6 4
