Communion Posted February 27 Posted February 27 (edited) If those titles @Sweetenertea had shared previously were real, it's then: 01) end of the world [1:25] 02) bye [2:45] 03) don’t wanna break up again [2:56] 04) saturn returns (interlude) [0:55] 05) eternal sunshine [3:25] 06) supernatural [2:37] 07) true story [2:51] 08) the boy is mine [2:53] 09) yes, and? [3:36] 10) we can't be friends [wait for your love] [3:53] 11) i wish i hated you [2:31] 12) imperfect for you [3:03] 13) ordinary things (? ?) [2:31] We just don't know what the parentheses title of #13 is then. Edited February 27 by Communion 2
Saud Posted February 27 Posted February 27 My mind is blown from the interview she was really going to make us starve for 7 YEARS…….. The fact she didn’t have good relationship with music and now it’s healed and she’s excited about it again makes me very happy it kinda makes sense the album is short, it’s almost re-introduction to her art and testing the water to “human ari” Max martin deserves a sloppy head for making this album with her 1
Gerardo Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Am I the only one who doesn’t mind the album being around 35 minutes? Positions is like 41 minutes long but it has like two skips, as long as the 13 tracks are solid/good I’m happy
My20sBlues Posted February 27 Posted February 27 I will accept that duration as long as there is no skip on the album
ultraviolence.xx Posted February 27 Posted February 27 i was just gonna say, the album is as long as Positions was minus the two songs i always skip (which will not be named here) so let's hope there are no skips
kindararenext Posted February 27 Posted February 27 (edited) there’s also like 2 interludes (an intro and an actual interlude) so like if we see it as 11 tracks and 33 minutes it’s not that bad honestly Edited February 27 by kindararenext
Blue Monday Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Kind of underwhelmed by the interview tbh, I feel like there was a lot of talking around certain things overall I am more excited for the album even if the duration still bothers me. 2
Communion Posted February 27 Posted February 27 (edited) She's really gonna kill Dalton, Page Six, and the people speculating about her life with kindness. I just know the "she pretends she's so love and light but we know the real her!!" freaks on Twitter and Tiktok are fuming. Edited February 27 by Communion 2
LustSpell Posted February 27 Posted February 27 (edited) This interview was SO enlightening, but it really shows I think we're gonna have a Rih situation with her maybe after the next album. The industry is heading towards a dark place with so many of our big faves simply moving on from the business. Still incredibly excited for this and I think it'll be an album that'll define my early 2024. Edited February 27 by LustSpell 2
SimpleKindofLife Posted February 27 Posted February 27 yes, and? is one of her weakest singles ever so I really need it to be the worst song on the album

boxoffice Posted February 27 Posted February 27 you all are truly unhinged, the meltdowns over every little thing is getting so annoying. 35 min albums are NORMAL
Cesar Posted February 27 Posted February 27 i'd take a 35 minute filler free album than a 60 min+ album with filler (Dangerous Woman) and guess what if you want to make the album seem longer, how about you listen to it twice 3 2

I don't think this is her last album, but I definitely think Ari albums are going to be fewer and far between with big gaps in between. She's 100% done cranking out quick albums to drop every year or even every other year, and completely done with typical pop star duties. It was even obvious she doesn't plan to ever really do a full fledged tour again. She kept saying "shows" rather than "tour". I think she's excited for and passionate about this album, but the interview felt like it was more about Wicked with the album being a second thought. And she mentioned multiple times how much she missed acting, so I wouldn't be surprised if she books something else soon now that Wicked is wrapped. I actually wish Zach would've asked if she plans to continuing acting now that she's caught the bug again. But yeah, she's definitely entering that Rihanna era of her career. Will this be her Anti? 1
EyesOnMe Posted February 27 Posted February 27 idk the reactions on Twitter but the reactions on her subreddit compared to here are so different
SweetenerNostalgia Posted February 27 Posted February 27 just realized the album is longer than any mitski album, you can make short and good albums i'm not mad
ariesgroove Posted February 27 Posted February 27 i’m not mad the album isn’t long, i trust ariana enough to make a full fledged record even if it’s short. her wanting to take a long break after music is also understandable, the woman released an album every year from 2018-2020 while simultaneously being at her most famous yet going through the most chaotic period of her life, add it being on public display at that, shoot i mean the woman uploaded a scan of her brain to show how much stress she’s gone through, that’s gonna be draining on anyone. i know we want ariana to give the whole nine yards and keep up the popstar brigade but she’s clearly in a different mindset, her love for music is always gonna be there but like she said she needed that reset. 1

Dr. Alexander Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Shorter albums always are the best because they are concise bodies of work for the most part. Longer albums screams playlist to me. I never liked it. 1
My20sBlues Posted February 27 Posted February 27 I don't think Ariana will keep her word to release an album until 2027, you will see that by the end of 2025 we will have news 1

I wouldn't take too much into this given the interview is literally purposefully segmented to 2 parts- with all of the album talk kept for Part 2, out on album release day. The end of the interview shows the next half is a 30-45 minute track-by-track walkthrough of the album. Though it was always clear she's done with being a traditional pop star. She's hated being a "pop star" since DW's era. 1
