State of Grace. Posted February 20 Posted February 20 I think that lady saying "Sweetener meets thank u, next" basically means the album will have both "pop bops" and R&B leaning tracks and thats all I needed to hear! 3
Tangane Posted February 20 Posted February 20 It's so fun to have a look behind the curtain of what it looks like for artists to present their work to the label! I love it! I hope I'll be blown away just like these people were!!
wildsidenormani Posted February 20 Posted February 20 I'm so excited for this album; her magnum opus is coming I really don't care about YA's chart performance or the home-wrecker allegations, they could never make me hate her or less excited for the album
wildsidenormani Posted February 20 Posted February 20 it still hasn't sunk in that she's back and we're getting an entire album in 17 days 1
kindararenext Posted February 20 Posted February 20 also her implying yes, and? is not amongst the best songs on the album but was the lead choice because “it had to” 1 2
ariesgroove Posted February 20 Posted February 20 house with r&b sister ain’t never put out a bad album before and it ain’t happening now! see ya in 2 weeks! 4

kindararenext Posted February 20 Posted February 20 we can’t be friends (wait for your SMASH) is coming 2
Tm4074 Posted February 20 Posted February 20 I love these behind the scenes she is showing us. I'm so here for a full on documentary showing the behind the scenes making of the album. I'm surprised she hasn't done one yet since most of her peers have at this point. I'm so excited for the album though can't believe we are only 17 days away from hearing it. Btw I was right when I said yes, and? was intentionally emulating the thank u, next formula lol. Reassuring that yes, and? didn't get the biggest response and she seems to know it wasn't going to be the biggest hit beforehand. But not her thinking buwygib is a bigger record than TUN...who lied to her? buwygib isn't even close to TUN commercially...Lmao. 9

I'm like there is no way she genuinely thinks tun (song) which started a whole pop culture phenomenon and brought her career to new heights following its release was the least successful hit from the tun album lol. Ironically tun (song) is probably more on trend with pop hits nowadays than it was in 2018, the confessional singer-songwriter lyrics and vulnerability are what pop audiences gravitate towards now. 6
Dula Peep Posted February 20 Posted February 20 damn im reallly hyped now especially after she said "the record" is still to come
Pink Ranger Posted February 20 Posted February 20 Dragging the daily mail as she should they are mostly responsible for tarnishing her image so hopefully she gets a chance to actually sing/speak about everything and just drag them for filth
Supervillain Posted February 20 Posted February 20 I'm really loving these little videos with label people that she's doing, wish more artists were doing that. 3
T.O.A.D.S. Posted February 20 Posted February 20 I love love love the behind the scenes videos with her label
KatyPrismSpirit Posted February 20 Posted February 20 house & r&b! i told yall this was her the velvet rope 1
sweetkiss Posted February 20 Posted February 20 not more remixes, who actually heard them are they any good
Disco Posted February 20 Posted February 20 I’m hyped now. TUN and sweetener are two of my favorite albums from her. I see this album having some hard hitting house songs (kind of how the TUN album has much sexier and harder hitting production than the lead single itself), but I get why she chose yes and as the lead given the message behind it. 1
