I wonder what part of True Story is what she liked enough to go back to, the "gimme love gimme gimme love' part or the "this is a true story..." part. I imagine some of the lyrics will be rewritten since the original was written in-character. I can see True Story fitting on a Max pop&b album but not really on a "straight forward pop" album or an album like Into You that Zach Sang was trying to hype it up as. 1

True Story is "older" but still from 2021/2022 and was originally created with Max and Savan. Girl is Mine is from February 2020 and was produced by Xavi. They also posted that some think it's "the boy is mine" and might actually sample the Brandy/Monica song but I'm wary of all "tea" this era.
