mxoonlight Posted February 2 Posted February 2 (edited) I think what excites me most is seeing how autonomous she is now and she's not afraid of taking full agency in a public way. I think she's always had a very clear palette of what she likes and full range of what she can do, but what was distinctive about her career up to Thank U, Next was how dependent she seemed to that previous team and letting them be her sonic auteurs. It definitely felt like she had way more of an edit with Positions, but the follies of the record were falling into samey categories sonically even if the musings and inspiration had evolved a little. I don't expect this to be that conceptual or really pushing the boundaries in terms of what her sound is, but it is exciting to see just how much she has matured as a creative. Communion Posted February 3 Posted February 3 (edited) I actually like the photoshoot the more we see of it and kind of wish one of the covers was a full body shot. Has anyone made a fanmade cover yet with one of the two fully body shots? I don't have photoshop on the current laptop I'm using and had to use photopea but even something like the below would have been nice, especially if done better. Edited February 3 by Communion 5

No one on Republic wants an Ariana flop album. She's been a cash cow for a decade now and lots of jobs depend on her performance 4
