Tm4074 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 I noticed she's using a consistent sunlight/sunshine motif going by the visuals we have for the album so far. The yes ,and? video showed her turning to stone in the sunlight, the album covers show her covering her eyes from the light (sunlight?), and obviously we know the album is going to be referencing themes from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. The album covers are going the artistic/symbolic route which makes way more sense than what some users here want/expected. It wouldn't make any sense for her to have DW era cvnty visuals on an album inspired by the themes in ESOTSM. I'm very intrigued how she is going to continue the sunlight theme throughout the rest of the album rollout. It's giving Sweetener vibes and that's not a bad thing by any means. Hoping this album occupies a similar spot in her discography by pushing her artistry forward. Imo that's more important than charts/commercial success. We all know she can make hits by now as she more than proved herself in that aspect throughout the past 10 years. 7
