It became the official Manchester single.

i guess no tears is linked to it too but my guess is that it got overshadowed by the tu,n era

People don't listen to a song because of a terrorist attack, it's not a movie soundtrack :rip: its popularity increased back then because it was used on social media linked to the event that occurred, but it's been 10 years, people simply like the song

Positions' album stats aren't that far off from Sweetener's, with the first doing better in some metrics, and Sweetener was handled much better promo-wise

Yeah it wasn't bad at all. I just meant it underperformed coming off TUN.

The album did 111M streams on Spotify US first week, I don’t see how HITSDD is predicting her to do only an extra 50M from AM, Amazon, Tidal, and Pandora :celestial5:

she should at the very least come close to 200M streams in the US, idk why they are lowballing her so hard

The amount I have streamed this album is insane. I did not expect to like it this much

This

First day it was out I was debating about if I wanted the vinyl, then by Sunday it was more me trying to wait until my next paycheck to buy it, then on Tuesday I bought it anyway :deadbanana2:

one week later and supernatural remains one of the best songs of her entire career IMO

i know the boy is mine is definitely gonna be the single #3, but i really hope she pushes eternal sunshine (the best song in the album) as the final single.. it has so much potential, a remix with doja would even be better.

tbh i think that it will do around 175M streams, spotify became the biggest streaming service in the us a while ago, also GUTS debuted with 199.590M streams (124.879M from spotify).

You’re telling me the song that was used as the tribute to the people affected by such a tragic event didn’t make it into a classic?

I'm watching Ajay's video reaction and honestly, I still can't believe she delivered such an incredible body of work :cries: it may be her best album after all

Okay so I don’t think this has been asked but who do we think supernatural, imperfect for you and ordinary things are dedicated to? 👀

Yes it did contribute, but that doesn't mean people are streaming it daily because of Manchester.

Did it give the song more "exposure"? Yes, but it also has to do with how songs are and age, huge singles from 2014-2017 have aged badly (Problem, Side to Side, Break Free) and now have poor recurrent streams, and at the same time others that weren't that big have grown on people through the years (Love Me Harder, One Last Time, Into You).
