Dr. Alexander Posted January 28 Posted January 28 WaiT. Maybe it is going to be more R&B. Oscar produced this by himself It isn’t over for us R&Biana fans 1

But clearly it won’t be another positions situation… I expect more lighter, ~cun*y~ version of Sweetener

Tyrion_LMG Posted January 28 Posted January 28 I don’t know what’s the problem of having one full pop album. She has included R&B moments in pop albums (My Everything, DW), has a pop/trap/urban one (TUN) or a full R&B record (Positions). Sweetener could have been pop heaven but she decided to ruin it with the Pharrell tracks which were literary underwelming and paled a a lot in comparison to the Max ones. Let her have her full pop moment for once 3 4

Tayla & Victoria played a huge part on the Tommy tracks. If you listen to the instrumentals , they're quite dull and go nowhere, however , go and listen to Fake Smile's instrumental , it sounds rich , it keeps developing until the final chorus with some staccato added. I'm not saying Tommy's a bad producer , but he's got his limitations and even his productions on DW sounded richer than nowadays.
T.O.A.D.S. Posted January 28 Posted January 28 I’d be more than happy with a full pop album. It would be something new for her. 1
wantedyoutogrow Posted January 28 Posted January 28 i’m thinking she will reveal a couple songs with every new album cover
nasa Posted January 28 Posted January 28 And some of y'all REALLY wanted her to collab with nicki on this album imagine the damage 3
Miracle Posted January 28 Posted January 28 9 hours ago, Sweetenertea said: the detail?!?! This will be her best album yet! oh so this is gonna be a theme album in a way Bummer that it's only gonna be an intro, yes, and? and 10 other tracks. It's a great length but the fake insider had hyped me with 20 :(.

Let her have her full pop moment for once I feel like most of her fans want the r&b/pop blend, it's mostly casual fans/pop listeners that don't mind her that root for a pure pop/dance album. Even her pop stans, I feel like when they say pop they probably mean NTLTC, Breathin and Love Me Harder and not Yes And. 1 1

Well that’s funny considering Pop Wansel (from Pop & Oak) produced it who also produced Break Your Heart Right Back and In My Head. I need an album executive produced by him because they are great together too. 3
Devin Posted January 28 Posted January 28 im pretty sure there will be an r&b twist to this album but i want it to be like an early 90s power ballad after hearing yes, and
Bencharmer Posted January 28 Posted January 28 (edited) Sometimes i feel like people don't know Ariana so much here. Her signature style is a clever mix of pop and rnb while all her albums have more poppy moments and more rbn oriented ones. Ofc she won't make a whole Chromatica like album This is seriously a good news if she gets new people on the project. Timmy's sounds started getting old so its will be fresh to have a new "perspective". This is why i love Pharrell's work so much with her, he challenged her sonically. wantedyoutogrow Posted January 28 Posted January 28 (edited) can something GOOD happen? Like the lead is flopping, she isn’t promoting, she is still blonde, like one thing about an Ariana era there will be some sort of MESS but still Edited January 28 by wantedyoutogrow
Gerardo Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Maybe she could do something that’s Dance/Pop but still Soulful(?), kinda like Whitney with Queen of The Night and I Wanna Dance With Somebody Im also curious if perhaps there one or two songs that she worked with Nile Rodgers on their sessions 1

raven Posted January 28 Posted January 28 It's going to be a blend of pop and r&b... that's literally Ariana's brand. It'll probs be more pop leaning seeing as it's Max Martin and co but I don't expect pure dance tracks all the way through 1
