Also the creation of the vinyl itself doesn't take long - it's the actual getting in line and reserving a spot that was congested with the pandemic vinyl boom. Now artists - at least major label ones - can reserve a spot to have their vinyls printed like.. 6 months from now and have to just submit the album a few days before production on the physical product is meant to start, usually a few weeks before the actual release is scheduled. Remember was mastered in January (the same day as 7 rings // 3rd Jan 2019) and was meant to be in thank u, next but she decided to scrap last minute. It wasn't a reason to delay the vinyls as they were shipped in February.
