KingWitch Posted March 8 Posted March 8 This is mid, also having max martin produce it and not make pop bangers is such a waste. There's just so many other RnB artists making stuff better than this attempt, should’ve stuck to what she knows best. 2 13
Slate Posted March 8 Posted March 8 THIS IS A TRUE STORY ABOUT ALL THE LIES YOU FANTASIZE BOUT YOU AND I
Jamie Starr Posted March 8 Posted March 8 (edited) ordinary things sounds like it would fit better on sweetener. Edited March 8 by Jamie Starr
LittleFreak Posted March 8 Posted March 8 I'm not a huge Ariana's fan, but I really like this album. My faves are Bye, Eternal Sunshine, Supernatural and We Can't Be Friends. So beautiful!

It deserves it. She did say in the Zane interview that she's excited to do those things again so it's kind of likely

She chose to tap into her struggles/trauma and create a concept album around it to tell a story which has helped her heal and grow, making an album only for the pop bangers just feels...reductive. She is past that point now

OrgVisual Posted March 8 Posted March 8 We Can't Be Friends, Supernatural and The Boy Is Mine are the holy trinity
ReachInsideMe Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Just listened to it another couple of times. It’s a good album, but I’m still not blown away. I will say the album is a pleasant surprise as I like it more than her previous albums, but it’s not something I’ll be listening to in a few weeks from now. 1
Club classic Posted March 8 Posted March 8 she’s a genius I love that the album brings so many feelings to life and I really like how she tapped into the fact people see her life as black and white, right and wrong and this explores that gray zone. Really powerful explanation of a difficult situation 2
Club classic Posted March 8 Posted March 8 I can’t really pick a favorite or a least favorite either, this album just works as a package
frankvert Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Also LOVE imperfect for you. Dont get the hate it was getting on here
ariananext Posted March 8 Author Posted March 8 I just realized the terrible spelling due to the font
