That must be so reassuring for her, she’s been through so much and I love how we can all see her growth in real time This is so real. Im excited to see her react to other peoples' reactions. It's probably so validating and I really wish the best for her 1
OrgVisual Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Why I have a feeling We Can't Be Friends will have an insane build up like Into You?

HausofAri Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Supernatural was my favorite based on the previews. I loveeeee how everything sounds so dreamy.
rivingtonrebel Posted March 8 Posted March 8 I will not listen to the snippets but can someone confirm here how different "yes, and?" to the whole vibe of the album? I still feel it will be the most diverse song in terms of sound I feel like.
Dr. Alexander Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Why did she put Mariah on yes, and when the album is filled with R&B-influenced songs 2

The chorus guys..... but we can't be friends is the right choice for album release. 25 minutes ago, Gerardo said: everybody hyping up the nonna collab is sending me it's really a great closer 2

But definitely far more dancy and produced and poppy for lack of better words right now. 1

KingBeyonce. Posted March 8 Posted March 8 The snippets sound so refreshing...mellow. Light and effortless. It doesn't sound like any of her other albums to me though. I'm surprised so many of you are making comparisons lol. It sounds like a slightly new-ish sound from her to me, idk. That's exciting. I guess if I had to, I'd compare it to the later half of sweetener more than anything. 2

I still feel it will be the most diverse song in terms of sound I feel like. It kind of sticks out a little. It fits in the overall shades of the album being 90s pop and synth-pop but it's the most "made for radio" sounding in terms of how it deviates the most from the work, obviously of course just from the snippet. I hate to make comparisons since I don't mean it in terms of sounds but it reminds me of how nothing else on Troye's album sounded like "Rush" yet "Rush" still sounded like it fit. Basically nothing else sounds like "Yes, And?" but it still sounds like it fits. It's just the house flavor of dance, where elsewhere she gives synth-pop or even (very light) disco. WCBF? also makes sense in that way as a single, showcasing the even more synth-pop moments, but it then also feels like single #3 should then also be one of the 90s pop&b songs to ensure all shades of the album get showcased to the album. 5
