boxoffice Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Is there more tea around or is everyone just going by the Pulse insider?

boxoffice Posted March 6 Posted March 6 It’s a pop album that sounds like pop music, I’m not getting worked up over this with so little time left for release. 1 days and a few hours left 1

boxoffice Posted March 6 Posted March 6 At this point, it’s safe to say this album is for the Into You fans that have been crying for an album with that sound. I don’t mind it tbh, even if I do prefer her R&B songs.

Interesting how she'll tie that sound to the video and concept. But the idea of it being mellow synth pop that she's never personally done before aligns with that kind of description. Very curious to see how she ties the electronic and house elements with what people say are r&b undertones on the record. I wonder if it'll be cry-on-the-dancefloor synth pop and then more r&b stripped down ballads, with YA? (And TBIM?) as the album's uptempo peaks.

boxoffice Posted March 6 Posted March 6 I'm sooo excited to hear her do the Robyn-type sound. She's never touched that side of pop 1

Rev8 Posted March 6 Posted March 6 So lite-hopeful-electronic type of tracks with sadder lyrics? First, I was left with the impression that it was just going to be bop songs with sad meanings (gave me Lily Allen vibes) but this is a tad bit different tbh Im not against it
Aristocrat Posted March 6 Posted March 6 It’s crazy how different all the different descriptions are. Zach Sang compared it to Into You, Wendy from Republic Records said pop r&b similar to Sweetneer and thank u, next, and now people are saying generic europop and Robyn vibes? What is the truth? 3 7
