I'm revisiting Thank U, Next and I feel like I haven't listened to her albums in full for ages, I used to listen to Ariana and Ariana only (like 95% of the time) until 2022, her hiatus allowed me to get into other artists' music more, and I added multiple artists to my stan list while taking a break from her discography that I overplayed way too much.

 

TUN gives me so much nostalgia because it reminds me of when I started dating my current boyfriend  plus it was such an iconic era, despite it being super short, there's so many memories attached to it, the smashing, the looks, I still remember when I heard it for the first time, how every single track was instant. And the tour which was her last, having new content every day and seeing her heal throughout the year. I don't know if it's the fact that it was her last project pre-covid, but it feels like forever ago. 

 

I still can't believe we're finally getting an album and she's putting more effort into making it a nice experience for her fanbase, especially compared to her last two projects, I can't wait for friday!
