needs Posted March 1 Posted March 1 I wonder why she didn't work with Tommy and Victoria at all this time around.

boxoffice Posted March 1 Posted March 1 the credits are so exciting!!! after we basically got a Tommy-exclusive album with Positions, it’s nice to now get a Max album. 2
Nashe Posted March 1 Posted March 1 God forbid Ari & Tommy ever crossing paths at a studio again. His services aren't needed anymore. 5 1 1
Tyrion_LMG Posted March 1 Posted March 1 After Positions I really wished she worked on a full Max/ilya album and here we are. Glad she has come back to full pop again. 6
wildsidenormani Posted March 1 Posted March 1 this time next week we'll all be on our 10th listen of the album... 5
Bencharmer Posted March 1 Posted March 1 I manifestated a full Max Martin album in 2014. 🫠🫠🫠 It took a decade to get it 1
Bloody Willy Posted March 1 Posted March 1 (edited) Can someone shed some light on something for me? This is looking very much like a Max Martin pop record, but didn't she say in 2018/2019 or low key suggested she was done with reproducing that kind of mathematic pop? I remember her actually being very annoying about it while she was touring with the SWT, always somehow hinting that she hates her pop music and especially tracks produced by Max Martin's team. What changed? Edited March 1 by Bloody Willy

Bloody Willy Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Also, even though I feel like the lead single was ultimately a bad choice, this could easily end up being her best album. The way she talks about it, the concept album territory being a new yet exciting leap for her, the organic way in which it was created... I don't know, I'm kind of feeling it.

What changed? Any reasonable Ari stan will tell u that she's prone to changing her opinions (besides appearance kii) and stances. Also her music was always straight up Pop with r&b and urban influences, I highly doubt she's delivering now an album full of breathins & Into You, she will always have these r&b vibes going on, but this time definitely (and hopefully) less than on Positions. 2 2
Burqa Posted March 1 Posted March 1 there’s no way supernatural has oscar gorres on the credits and isn’t a smash my hype is over the roof with those credits

I remember her actually being very annoying about it while she was touring with the SWT, always somehow hinting that she hates her pop music and especially tracks produced by Max Martin's team. What changed? because she also loves pop, specially 90s-2000s. Isn't she a fan of NSYNC , Celine Dion, Madonna & Whitney's classics? what she loves is "clever" pop , nothing formulaic like break free. That's why she liked GIAW & NTLTC, it's not a safe conventional pop song. And that's why she doesn't like "breathin" , because it's more vainilla , predictable. Max is also a very close friend that was introduced to her when she was very young and has always been there for her & listened to what she wanted to say. 3 2
