Most of her tours are broadcast on Mexican TV. I wonder if it's that or on a live album.

Glad that you had a great time!!!

If it was a Tv special for Mexican TV then why she did English versions of Objetion & She Wolf, she performed the Spanish versions at the other shows

Maybe it's the live Album :duca:

I think you're right! Probably filming for different markets. That's smart, plus it's a record-breaking show, so the venue is special.

There are two stages: one at her current show and then another that goes to the next show so they can transport it and set it up in advance. :gaycat7:

They have had plenty of time to set up the stage for the DR show.

I wonder if the other stage is still in shape after the Medellín's collapse.

Oh really? I didn't know that. Then it should be on the live album!

The production is already working on the Chile show

That's a total of 20 stadium shows in Mexico.

10th date in Mexico City.
2nd shows in Queretaro and Puebla.
New show in Monterrey (3rd overall) but this one is like the Chile and Argentina venue, like an open field.

This is ridiculous :ahh:

Edit: Earlier I wrote 18. My bad, with these new, there is a total of 20 shows.

She officially tied Adele's record - 10 stadium shows in one city.

I need her to break it not a tie.

I hope she adds dates till demand is completely dry in every single Latin American market. This tour will go down in history books

She'll probably break it. 8th and 9th shows basically sold out in presale.

but isn't Coldplay breaking that record with their London shows?

By this point I wouldn't be surprised if she adds more Mexican cities :deadbanana2:

Then the tour will have 200 dates at least. She still has Spain to do which is another huge market for her.

Yeah I was referring to female artist.
Coldplay did/ will do 16 shows in Wembley. Shakira is still far from that but I can see the potential.

Apparently, she's announcing a second date in Monterrey at Parque Fundidora.

Dominican Republic date cancelled 4 days before the show :cm:

not a good move considering that the next dates after that one are the chilean dates :rip:

I think they are putting the concert dates too close to each other without considering how far they have to transport both the stage and Shakira. :deadbanana2:

It's a 10 hour flight from the Dominican Republic to Chile and the concerts were only 2 days apart. :deadbanana:Her team sucks at logistics.

They really thought they could build this stage as fast as they built the wooden planks she has been performing at the past 2 decades

Haha. If they used the second stage at the Dominican Republic, then they would only have 3 days to transport the Estadio GNP Seguros stage from Mexico to Chile and build it in time for the first show. :deadbanana2: That's basically impossible.

So they're cancelling the DR show for logistical reasons in order to build the Chile stage in time for shows that were rescheduled due to original logistical problems. :gaycat7:

Yes and no, the main structure is being built in Chile, but the screens and led catwalk are still in Mexico. Adding the unique features (the moving screens) only takes a day and a half or so to build, like arena shows, what takes ages is the skeleton of the stadium stage.

This ties Adele's record.  This is a massive record that will be difficult to beat:

10 Adele Adele in Munich
10 Shakira GNP Seguros Stadium (LMYNY Tour)
8 Taylor Swift Wembley Stadium (Eras Tour)
6 Taylor Swift Sofi Stadium (Eras Tour)
6 Taylor Swift Singapore (Eras Tour)
6 Taylor Swift Toronto (Eras Tour)
6 Beyonce Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (Cowboy Carter)
