Only Germany, and like 2 Scandinavian countries can still be considered 1st world. Have you been to Spain, France, Italy, Greece? They are no longer the 1st world nations they used to be. High unemployment, infrastructure crumbling, etc. 

the poor German citizens have to unfairly take care of the rest of European countries who belong to the EU

It’s more of a class thing. Like others have said, some androids are equal or more expensive than iPhones. However. By choosing to own an iPhone you are displaying your tacky taste like why would you choose such ugly low class phone when you can buy the chic and sleek iPhone? 
 

I would not go to a psychiatrist or a heart surgeon who has an android, that means they lack judgement and will probably put me in the wrong meds.
