MONTERO just score its third 1B hit on Spotify

 

It gets me thinking of another album which started with controversies and religion mocking, The Fame Monster

Both are their "sort-of" sophomore album/music output after huge success of their debut (Lil Nas X : Old Town Road; Lady Gaga : Just Dance & Poker Face)

 

Which era is overall bigger?

The Fame Monster has classics and is one of the biggest pop eras of all time. Montero is not on the same level, at all.

After the rules about how much likes you Need to be viral we Need some rules to explain to some people here a Song released in 2010 with 1B streams on Spotify is a bigger Song than one with 1B streams and released in 2021.

Yes, cause Industry Baby and Call Me By Your Name are about to pass 2 Billion mark in couple months

 

I know some of y'all were more present on last decade's pop music climate

but it doesnt mean today's music is incomparable with the last decade's music :skull:
