unclefloprry Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Since the release of PF2, some tracks are doing cute on social media like TikTok, especially songs like Everybody, FTCU or Pink Friday Girls but despite the hype on social media, the songs are barely doing numbers on Spotify (the biggest music platform in the world): - FTCU: 1.5M streams - OUT of top 50 Global - Everybody: 950k streams - OUT of Top 200 Global - PFG: 540k streams yesterday - OUT of Top 200 Global - Needle (ft. Drake): 548k streams yesterday - OUT of Top 200 Global All the songs have cute playlisting on the platform, like Rap Caviar or one of them that even reached #1 on TTH. Is Nicki the proof that playlisting, TTHs, and trends on TikTok aren't enough to have a global hit these days? 1

Saint James Posted January 8 Posted January 8 proof that FTCU had good playlisting? yes it (or one of them) had TTH but that was still xmas period. ur implying that Nicki had good push/promo which has never been the case 1

KOMH Posted January 8 Posted January 8 The way FTCU will never be a hit no matter many versions of it she releases. Those Spotify Global positions and streams post Christmas are beyond atrocious 1 1 5

HEAVYONIT Posted January 8 Posted January 8 It’s proof that a proper release strategy/plan is what’s most important to most singles successes.
John Slayne Posted January 8 Posted January 8 when FTCU peaks inside top 10 giving Nicki another solo top 10 hit, what's the argument going to be then? 2
Gorjesspazze9 Posted January 8 Posted January 8 FTCU is definitely a Hit y’all living under a rock to think otherwise 7

Apparently it’s not a hit if it doesn’t reach #1 Spotify, #1 AM, #1 Hot 100, and #1 radio…and spend multiple days/weeks at #1, for that matter 1
dawnettakins Posted January 8 Posted January 8 The loser naysayers in here being miserable and suffering. So delicious!! 1
K$Ellie Posted January 8 Posted January 8 she has 10 different versions too... imagine bragging about 1.5m on Spotify
KKKIMO92 Posted January 8 Posted January 8 I think FTCU is already a hit and iconic. She has no radio to back it up otherwise it will be top 5 easily.
chaneloberlin Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Yes. Everybody was everywhere in it's first 2 weeks. Inescapable, almost (even with Christmas). If it was by any other female rapper it would be #1 by now I fear. The (organic) demand just isn't there
WEEKND Posted January 8 Posted January 8 I thought f the club up was smashing ? oh well at least her album is selling
