KatyPrismSpirit
Damn. We were all so quick to write doja off after those measly 6k in pure sales first week but shes smashing with the singles from Scarlet. Good for her to be honest. Means she might be a singles artist and not an album's artist.

UseYourIllusion2002
Just now, Aaron said: that’s a lot of qualifiers for a record, but yay Not really? that's pretty impressive. Before album bombs, it was impressive with artists would have two songs in the top 10. Even more impressive if that artist was a girl. Which makes this more impressive because female rappers usually have a harder time of scoring top 10 hits, especially solo.
Rhyme
Doja is never going anywhere. She has that special quality to her. Authentic, multifaceted, and not boxed into what people expect of her.

Doja has had an insane hit streak in the US since Juicy. Honestly if she didn’t alienate so many people between eras she’d be unstoppable. The fact that she’s this successful despite so many people hating her new shows her big she was in PH. Edited January 8 by Gaia
HEAVYONIT
I mean, let's hold on a minute. The album has two HITS, that's undeniable, but that doesn't mean the rest of the album isn't a flop. How much of the album's streams are being carried by PTTR and AH? Let's be honest, they're the "poppiest" rap tracks of the bunch. I love Doja but Scarlet isn't it. Nobody is claiming the album is smashing but the two solo hits are for sure carrying it. HDD has Scarlet at #26 for its 15th week on the chart. For comparison Queen on its 15th week was at #48 Pink Friday roman reloaded on its 15th week was at #41 Edited January 8 by makeme

Scarlet earned 6.6M streams on the 6th, and 5.6M of those streams came from PTTR and AH. That means 1M total streams total for the other 15 songs on the album.
