Relampago. Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Something is still not fully clicking with me… I feel like this is one of those songs that’s going to make more sense for me in the context of the album. I just can’t latch onto the verses and the production kinda drowns out her voice so I can’t even really latch onto lyrics either. It’s like *right* on the verge of hitting the slay button, but I can’t put my finger on why it isn’t. However, I felt this way about Break My Soul until Renaissance came out, so I feel like Eternal Sunshine will do the same for this.
Dear Reader Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I wanted to make a gif out of it but I’m not able to, anyone can make one for me? message me if you can
FameFatale Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Wait I’m obsessed with the video. The choreography, the theme 10/10. I really love Chris Breslauer’s work. He’s a rising video director. 4
Magdalene Posted January 12 Posted January 12 WHAT RED ROOM ARE THE CRITICS HEADING INTO…. CMON COHESION
mxoonlight Posted January 12 Posted January 12 she actually dogsmacked the PHUCK out of y’all in a nonchalant way 😭 talking all that **** but you left the room gagging to the song - so shut the **** up! 6 1
Vignesh Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I really needed the video for the song to click for me. And i'm 100% sold now! Excellent!
BreakinTheIce Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Meh. The critics intro was so incredibly lame and cringe, the song is just okay. It doesn't really work as a whole "hit" at the press/media like other girls (i.e. Britney) bc in this instance, Ariana has actually done something wrong, and she's not the victim here. Also, not trying to hate, but why can she still not just open her mouth to sing? She never looks like she's actually properly mouthing the words. 1
OrgVisual Posted January 12 Posted January 12 The video is a bit boring ngl. She needs to do something more controversial with this type of song
Hector Posted January 12 Posted January 12 The video's cute, it gives me a 2024 update of this video, just in an art exhibit instead:
UnusualBoy Posted January 12 Posted January 12 The song has grown on me a bit but I still bit feel is underwhelming. As for the video is not bad but nothing really happens there and basically add nothing to the song.

somuch4you Posted January 12 Posted January 12 She looks so discouraged in the music video, what is going on? Something isn't clicking

Nashe Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Love the video, it's very different for her. It feels like an 2000s vid in a way. I can't stop playing the song, but yeah I'm a huge Ari fan lol though everything about it screams that it'll end up Houdini'd. hopefully she brings the smasha for the 2nd single

I thought she was coming to stomp with that slow entrance but then it flatlines. And she lowkey looks tired 2
Monkey_Juice Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I like the song The video is given Paula Abdul "Cold Hearted" her impact 1 1
The Slayer Posted January 12 Posted January 12 The video is so boring, I expected much better. Nice choreo though. 1 2
Erreur2 La Nature Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I like that she did an effort with the dancing but I have seen this type of music videos hundred of times tbh. 1
