Ariana Grande - "yes, and?"

Also the spoken word bridge could’ve hit harder without that weird vocal effect but nevermind…

Sad because I'm an Ari fan, and was really looking forward to this song.

We need to normalize being objective and saying when a song is bad even if it's mainstream superstar. The lyrics are so cringe.

Someone needs to give her a dose of reality. People comment on her body (not here to debate if that's wrong or right) usually out of a place of concern. She very clearly has some sort of ED. And her dating decisions... well I'll reserve my judgements.

Sonically this doesn't work for me, and lyrically I don't think this is 'doing' what she thinks it is.

You know Ariana is back when I had to check the genius page while listening to the song

!!!!! consonants gone, ***** up!!!

It's a great comeback, kinda safe but as a DJ I'm so happy for a 119bpm bop I can mix it with almost anything. :WAP:

this is easily her best lead single

very different for her, the vocals are *****

This was mid af (im saying this as a fan) . How do you release huge lead singles like NTLTC, Problem and then comeback this time with something this flat?:rip:

The song is “mid”.

Not great, not terrible. But definitely not worthy of a big comeback single.

I think we are seeing and hearing the beginning of the end of Ariana Grande as a MPG.

I am very happy with the poppier sound. I know a lot prefer her more R&B sound, but it's not my cup of tea with Ariana. However, her enunciation is still a problem for me.

The Urinators are out in full downvote force, but stay strong and fly your freak flag high with your original opinions. You have no reason to be afraid. You're on your own, kid, but at least you're not a Urinator!

Would've loved punchier vocals, but otherwise it's perfectly fine. Not a flop, but not as bombastic as I would've liked. Looking forward to seeing if the album is serving baby's first Renaissance or if it's more diverse in style :giraffe: either way, will be tuned in

I don’t like it

Hm. I was looking forward for this so hard. It's not bad at all but something is holding me back from loving it. Maybe the video will elevate it for me. The beat is great but something is not clicking

almost an hour till the mv drops and it grows on the haters :jonny6:

You guys really need to listen to more songs, especially house/house inspired pop songs, if you think the intro is too long. Like I'm genuinely baffled by the comment

Not weird. She clearly isn't healthy. Sad, that people would rather ignore that than actually help her.

Are you a licensed professional? More importantly, are you her doctor? No? Don’t make overarching statements about people’s bodies you weirdo

I genuinely don’t think there’s been such an obvious bonafide LGBT/pride classic released since Born This Way :jonny:

I don't think it would be too long if the song were like 4:30+ but it's not. The intro is too long for how long the song is overall

It’s alright. I’m sure it’ll be a hit at the clubs.

It's good, love the chord changes first of all and sound. Maybe a grower
