we will dance to this at gay club while thinking of those who were homeophobic to us

Sad because I'm an Ari fan, and was really looking forward to this song.

We need to normalize being objective and saying when a song is bad even if it's mainstream superstar. The lyrics are so cringe.

Someone needs to give her a dose of reality. People comment on her body (not here to debate if that's wrong or right) usually out of a place of concern. She very clearly has some sort of ED. And her dating decisions... well I'll reserve my judgements.

Sonically this doesn't work for me, and lyrically I don't think this is 'doing' what she thinks it is.

I like it, but for a house track it lacks dramatism.

I really like this, though it doesn’t sample or interpolate Vogue. That was a lie.

Break My Soul sweetie :biblio:

It's not hiting for me, sounds very retail, corny unsubtle lyrics, if she was going to go there I was hoping it would be a little more self aware, it's giving Ariana impersonator

My initial listen to this was on speaker but now that I've heard it on earphones, the production is really crisp and banger. Still have a hard time understanding what she's saying though especially the bridge.

i really like it now i have listened to it 3-4 times. A big hit coming.

It's so bad. She has no taste and the gays around here are tired as hell. An Ari house banger sounds incredible on paper but whatever this is, it's not it.

It's cute. I like the instrumental intro and verses, but I'm not feeling the chorus and bridge.

You know Ariana is back when I had to check the genius page while listening to the song

The haters here and this is gonna smash so hard :lmao:

I love it. Although right before the chorus I keep thinking Vogue is gonna start lol.

Love the song. It is a solid 4/5 for me.

Yes it is sorta derivative from Madonna's Material Girl and Express Yourself with a liberal sprinkle of Break My Soul, but this song would still get any party/club turnedt.

Mother served again :gaygacat1:

You listened to the song and didn’t listen to a gd word she said, huh? You’re entitled to not like the song or whatever that’s fine, but you’re a total weirdo for the comment about her body.

ANYWAYYYYYYY, OT: the song is not necessarily what I was expecting, but I had a similar reaction to NTLTC when it first dropped. I appreciate the curveball and I think this is a capital G R O W ER. I imagine in the context of the album it’ll really hit too, just like NTLTC did on sweetener

I genuinely don’t think there’s been such an obvious bonafide LGBT/pride classic released since Born This Way :jonny:

Not weird. She clearly isn't healthy. Sad, that people would rather ignore that than actually help her.

I love that she went with upbeat song and returned back to her dance influences! Very refreshing :clap3:

I’ll watch the music video but after that I’ll never listen again most likely

I actually really like the song. Very Sweetener meets Renaissance. It’s her most interesting and boldest release to date (despite the homewrecker allegations). I just wish she used more vocals. B+

This just feels so flat :emofish: And the chorus isnt really catchy. Definitely her worst lead
But atleast she tried something different and im sure there's gonna be some bangers on the album :giraffe:
