The song is a bit like Break My Soul for me.

I do admit that on the first listen I was disappointed, probably because that’s not what I expected and her vocals are too low.

However after a few listens, the song is a smash. It’s addictive. The intro is great. It’s a mix between Vogue and BMS/Cozy. The house feeling, the talking parts. I still wish the vocals were stronger and just like BMS, there’s no climax but this song is going to be a on repeat on radio and parties.
I feel a smash.

One thing Anti Hero will hold over yes, and? Is that it will be a grammy nominated song. This will not.

The people calling this song ‘boring’ must either be trolls or people that dislike Ariana so much they’re unwilling to give her any praise.

If this song came on at a club, I would 100% be sent to the emergency room after attempting a spinning jump split into a twerk during the chorus.

The BMS comparisons are sending me. Have you never heard a dance/house beat? :deadbanana2:

the thumbnail glitches going on here are scaring me. who are we dragging here?

It's avante garde. It's haute couture. It's KURNT. It's NOT for the uncultered listener who thinks Tayl*r is the pinnacle of music

If I had to compare it to any song, it would be Vogue. It doesn’t make me think about Beyoncé at all

Not sure how to feel about this. Not bad but also nothing crazy. It’s easy to listen to but I guess it just doesn’t feel like the grandiose comeback it was made up to be

This is great!

I LOVE IT:jonny6:

I really like it, wasn't so sure on the first couple of listens but it's grown on me. Plus the intro is great too, pretty rare for songs these days to have an instrumental intro that long.

I am sorry but why is this so bad and boring?? Her worst lead single by far. It would be ok as an album track i guess. A mess! :mazen:

Anti Hero stomps on this song, it's a lead single done right in every sense.

Production is cool, it's a bop for sure but these lyrics are... not it.

The production is nice, but I feel like this song fails at the one thing it's set to achieve: clear Ari's reputation before Wicked. Everything feels rushed about this era but maybe the MV will elevate it.

It's Babylon's much prettier sister. :gaygacat3:

This is a wild take. Babylon out-everythings this song.

The intro GAGGED me a bit :jonny6:

Oooo I LIKE this. Hated positions apart from the glorious My Hair so this is a great step in the right direction for me.

I love the production isn’t phoned in house beat, it sounds fresh. And love the bridge the fx

The intro is the best part by far. I think the issue is the chorus is just so weak. No strong melodies, no layered ad libs

Anyways I’ll keep on Streaming because the chart success stan in me wants her to win :bird:

A 45-second intro on a 3-minute song is wild. She really had nothing to say on this song.
