theintriguingone Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I feel like i could stick a needle through her voice and it would burst… it’s so light and airy here. But i like the song, i think it’s catchy and definitely will be a grower.
ihavequestions Posted January 12 Posted January 12 At first it was underwhelming. The intro felt too long, her voice was THIN as f and the melody felt weak. On my 6th listen, I’m beginning to see the light… i feel like it will take me some time to fall in love with it but i know it will happen
wildsidenormani Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Tugging on Positions' scalp to take its place as her best lead single
theoghon Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I'm slowly realizing I might've outgrown the Ariana brand of pop, gimme Dua, Jessie, Roisin, Jesy Lanza any day ...she had a good run tho
SpaceOddity Posted January 12 Posted January 12 "No tears left to cry" verses and "thank u next" chorus ****** and made a Vogue/Erotica baby. A smash hit in my eyes. 1
Gui Blackout Posted January 12 Posted January 12 This is nice. She needed a switch up. A Jessie Ware-y sound really suits her, hope that's the direction of the album. 2
Badgalbriel Posted January 12 Posted January 12 The song is underwhelming at first. Hope it grows on me.
Badgalbriel Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Chorus is kinda weak. Her voice on the bridge is so soft and airy, it drags down the song even more. I really like the verses though.
burninredhot Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Ok but what was the intention behind this long *** intro? Was she tired of her stans dragging her for the 2 min long songs?
Dragonfly Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I like the verses, but the rest is rough And what's with that 30 second intro? b*tches all ugly-ugly-ucky-ucky-ucky... is what it sounds like 1

Hephaestus Posted January 12 Posted January 12 The thing is, the intro and the whole instrumental are giving full dance/ballroom vibe while the lyrics and vocal delivery are telling a whole other story. I'll probably bop to this from time to time, but overall it's a chop I'm sorry (and yes, probably her weakest lead so far). 1
ariananext Posted January 12 Author Posted January 12 Unpopular opinion, I love the intro, actually the intro and the outro (with the vocals) are my favourite parts of the song. I also really don't love the baby voice, she dragged it during Sweetener saying her label made her do it during ME/DW and then went back to it because of Wicked 1
Cyanide Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Anyone hating is clearly deaf, we needed this cunty vogue serve YES, AND? SAY THAT **** WITH YOUR CHEST!!! 5
