LipaBlink Posted January 12 Posted January 12 amazing video, song will have to be a grower, it felt more album track to me than lead single, still glad to have her back perched for the album

It's another though how much it seems people weaponize the idea of her having an ED to degrade her and then pretend it comes from a place of concern. I have a problem with that too, I don't think it comes from genuine care 1

qurl Posted January 12 Posted January 12 video was so cute , song is already growing on me a lot. at the end of the day it’s a simple, nice, clean introduction to this era. 1

Post Malone Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I feel like we can barely see her in the video? I've seen more from each random man in the audience 1 1
Comedor Posted January 12 Posted January 12 When I see a dancing video I expect to be gagged but clearly that was not the goal with Houdini and yes, and? They just moving around doing their 1, 2 step. It’s not offensive or anything but also not outstanding. Don’t know what they were trying to achieve. 1
KKW Posted January 12 Posted January 12 It’s so nice to have her back active for music. I was convinced she’d really wait until Wicked was fully wrapped. I’m curious on the timeline of the era since I know press for the movie starts in November

ariananext Posted January 12 Author Posted January 12 the @sweetener account is posting, looks like the graphic on that merch we've seen already
swissman Posted January 12 Posted January 12 (edited) The song is better than the video, though the part where she circles her critics during the spoken word really drives home the concept and felt a bit transcendent because otherwise it was pretty poorly acted and so feels quite inauthentic right from the start. I find it hard to believe we are meant to change these critics' minds through Ariana performance when it's so clear by their performance that they are scripted/acting. Personally, I dislike when pop-stars use "ripped from he headlines" tabloid fodder in their work as an attempt to prove them wrong or take back ownership because it's so cliché by now. I think there are other ways to directly address things without it being the same "show the haters saying absurd things" bit. She hit the sweet spot on how that can be achieved with TUN (song) where she addressing things by pointing to them in a way we wouldn't expect. Edited January 12 by swissman

TeamThiem Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Not a fan of this. Makes me want to play Cold Hearted Snake by Paula though. 1 1
mxoonlight Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Video is legit so good, her best one since no tears easily 1
Bimbo Posted January 12 Posted January 12 The video is cute, best parts being the statues crumbling and then appearing again with the light. I wish it got more interesting in the bridge though, it has what is supposed to be the most important lyrics of this song. No words on the blonde.
X~MoviePoP Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I just know shes gonna suck in Wicked. Ariana just lacks personality, i dont see a fire behind her eyes when she performs in videos or live, theres no passion. Video has no replay value for me. Ill wait for single # 2 7 1 10
Relampago. Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I like the video a lot, I don’t get the criticism of it. It’s very kvnty and fun. The comments about her body are getting weird. She’s obviously thinner than she used to be, but even if she was struggling with an ED… do you really think it’s appropriate to comment on that so flippantly? Have some couth. 3 2
