They need to let her rest. There's bigger chances of Britney coming back to music in one-two years.
If they pressure her, she will seen this as a cash grab

Not her team assembling an entire album for her in case she ever says "yes" :rip:

lol can they just stop... they as in her team or whoever is repping her rn. this was the problem during Circus, FF and BJ... like it was obvious her heart wasn't in it anymore (along with the c-ship obviously). if she comes back to music it should 100% be of her own doing... I had to stop stanning during the FF era, it was painful.

Forcing music on her when she’s not feeling it will just create another lifeless era. Let her come back at her own pace. She might not know it yet, but she’ll eventually release another body of work. She’s naturally a creative person. Just give her time.

Did her own team and management not read her book? :deadbanana2:

She clearly states she’s nowhere near ready to release music again.

I wish she was ready to make music again.

It will happen. She loves the attention too much. Eventually the book will fade from the best-sellers charts and she will need something else to put her energy into again. She's been hard-wired to perform and record since she was a little girl.

I mean it's smart. All she has to do is lead vocals. She could do two songs a day, that's the whole album done in a week. Then if she changes her mind again they can tell her too bad and just release it since the label owns the masters and she's technically still under contract to RCA. They could re-use one of the Femme Fatale photos for artwork. They could even lie and tell her that it's just for fun and won't be released so she does it in the first place. That would be horrible and immoral, but Sony Music doesn't care about that, they care about Britney Spears making money for them again.

There is LOTS of money to be made from Britney now that she's no longer under conservatorship. Much more than before, where it was endless red tape and it had to be split among all the conservators and their lawyers and such. Now she can be fully milked by the entertainment business. Book was just the beginning.

Why bother having a team then?

So what changed? That was always the case. :deadbanana2:

Since the beginning of her career she was involved in the process.. since the BOMT MV, she was involved. It was during the conservatorship where she was refrained from providing as many inputs as before.

After what came out and went down over the last couple of of years, orchestrating this without her explicit consent (or better yet by her personal request) is actually crazy and audacious af.

This story might be slightly exciting if her “A&R/mgmt” chose better writers/ producers to “get her excited”.

I didn’t like the sound she went for on “Glory”, so it’s boring me that they want to pair her with mostly those producers again.

I hope Britney fires them all! Leeches! :biblio:

Her heart is not in it and hasn’t been for at least 10 years. Let it go.

Sorry but why is thread open. This man isn’t the source and is unable to produce one. The fact her label are thinking about material for Britney isn’t news, she has another record before her deal is fulfilled. They won’t force her to release it but they will want to jump on the moment if she’s changes her mind, given the success of the book I’d of assumed this was a given at this point. Doesn’t mean she’ll stand in a booth again.

If she does do it, I hope she insists she gets 50% songwriting royalties (without actually writing anything), as the songs won’t make a large amount of money unless he is the one to record them.

Oh so her management has been contacting these writers without Britney’s involvement?

RCA should just release a rarities album curated by Britney and call it a day. Release her from her contract and let her explore her music the way she feels like it.

Why do I feel like the plan was to leak this to the media, hopefully Britney sees the excitement for it and changes her mind. This backfired so much, bit stupid actually. Even if she does release music now, the fans won't believe she's actually supportive of it :skull:

That's because Cade has been working overtime to convince Britney to do more.

She said she "quit the industry" in 2019 when her father was still conservator.

She also said she wasn't going to stop working just not under her father.

She problem will quit the industry in terms of touring/award shows/promo and all that jazz.

That doesn't mean she won't release more music.

Britney probably will randomly release music singlets or collabs but her team is trying to workout a way to change her mind the way she changed her mind to release Hold me closer, Mind your Business, and the Woman in Me book.

Doesn't mean they will be successful.

Best bet: Hopefully, AFTER recertifying albums: BOMT, Oops, Britney, In the zone again, Femme fatale, Glory, the greatest hits: MP, The singles collection...RCA can create GH: Volume 3 to include FF, BJ, Glory and features + 3-4 unreleased songs. Perhaps a double CD.

This will give her a charting BB 200 album.

An unreleased song compilation album.

If she ever returns to making an album, it won't be for at least a few years if she becomes inspired again.

If RCA is trying to get her material for B10 then they should have no problem working on GH Volume 3 and unreleased material compilations while trying to persuade Britney to make another full studio album again.

Maybe the people that did all the work for her should do it for other people too so they wouldn't be eternal flops :deadbanana2:

Britney has released 9 albums and I would like her to release one more album. The most personal music she has ever released, music where she's unfilitered and raw and she tells the world everything she's been thinking. I want her to sing about how she feels about this industry and the way society treats famous people and those who have special needs, mental health problems and mental illness. The insidious behaviour and predatorial nature of those in power, exploiting and taking advantage of those who are vulnerable and talented and what it takes to have survive this industry.

I assume she couldn't legally get out of her label contract (what I know there's one album left for it to be fulfilled) and her team (using the word loosely) is trying to get her into it?

If she's not interested then maybe release a bunch of remastered Demos or wait for her to be up for recording :michael:

I still think RCA should've let her out of the contract, since I'm sure she wasn't even asked if she was ok with it.
