Yeah, I feel like this as well, looking at the list of contenders for Best Actress and I feel like most of them can be crossed off now.

Isabelle Huppert has been announced as Jury President for Venice this year.

Hoping that she makes a choice and awards gaga with Volpi Cup :suburban:

It's demi moore's time folks.

Her movie just debuted with 100% on RT and 84 on metacritic. Perhaps she won at the end :suburban:

Everyone is praising Demi Moore's performance in The Substance:

Quote

It's the casting of Moore, though, and her willingness to denude herself at 61 – emotionally, as well as physically – that gives The Substance a startling connection with its themes. Not for 30 years has she owned a film with anything like this certitude. Watching her confront the Demi Moore in the mirror, and do it so mercilessly, is extraordinary.

The film also already has a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes. She's (hopefully) coming :duca:

i don't think KoK (:dies:) will be big with its release date apparent weirdness and anthology nature :celestial5:

Emma will follow McDormand's path me thinks.

She will only get nominated for Best Actress if she were to win.

Both Horizon Part 1 and the Apprentice got bad/mediocre reviews. It's getting bad.

Sean Baker is gonna save us tonight with Anora

27% on Rotten Tomatoes :rip: A bloated dud to avoid! I hope The Apprentice won't be like Vice 5 years earlier and skip awards season.
