Exactly without "Super Bass" and "Starships" she would have never lasted this long. Those songs transformed her from a US/Canada rap star to an international pop star.

It was the right single choice. "Whip It" is too gay and abrasive and it takes too long to get to the "hey stranger over there" hook (which is the only radio friendly part).

Y’all acting like this isn’t a corny, sappy ass song. Of all her songs, it makes the most sense why she hates it. That being said, it’s also her biggest hit so her acting like this just feels pretentious, I’ll give y’all that  just perform it for the fans, gorl!
